About the studio...

It was in 1927 that Warner Bros made the world's first talkie, 'The Jazz Singer' and thereby revolutionized the film industry. Needing more space for sound stages, the brothers Jack, Sam, Harry, and Albert moved the studio here in 1929. Many of the great stars of Hollywood's golden era worked for them: Humphrey Bogart, Bette Davis, James Cagney, Ronald Reagan, Doris Day, and Clint Eastwood.

The studio also developed a zany brand of animation and introduced us to the likes of Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Yosemite Sam, Sylvester and Tweety, The Roadrunner, and Pepe Le Pew. All these beloved Looney Tunes were voiced by Mel Blanc.

Some of the many films made here have included '42nd Street', 'Casablanca','A Streetcar Named Desire', 'Rebel Without a Cause', 'Dirty Harry', the 'Batman' and 'Lethal Weapon' series, 'Risky Business' 'Driving Miss Daisy' and many more.

The studio has also been home to many television series: 'Maverick', 'Wyatt Earp', 'Murphy Brown', 'Friends', 'The Drew Carey Show', 'The West Wing' 'ER' and 'Everybody Loves Raymond' to name a few. Currently 'Ellen', 'Conan' and 'The Big Bang Theory' are taped here.

A personalized VIP tour of the studio is available. Reservations are required. See below for details.
